The Wizards have won three of their last four games. Detroit is missing a raft of rotation players and has been blown out in six consecutive games. They might be two of the NBA’s worst teams, but it’s clear the Wizards deserve to be favorites here.
The Hornets have the worst offense in the league since the break. They have gone under this line in eight of their last 11 games. Golden State is ninth in defense after All-Star.
The Magic are sixth in net rating since the break. The Clippers are 18th. Los Angeles is on a 9-10 run, while Orlando has gone 12-5 to consolidate their position in the top six. It’s bizarre that the Magic are underdogs on their home floor.
He might have been held to just 14 points on seven shots in the loss to the Bulls a couple of days ago, but we still like rolling with Pascal Siakam here. He cleared this line in each of his prior four games, and the Lakers could be without both Anthony Davis and LeBron James.
Eight of the Bulls’ last nine games have gone over this line. Brooklyn has been in some low-scoring games over the last few weeks, but they’re still a good bet to go over here. They combined for over 240 with the Wizards last time out.
Look out for a big night from Jarrett Allen. The Sixers are a woeful rebounding team without Joel Embiid, and they are no more than average on the defensive end. Allen has cleared this line in four of his last six games – one of his under was 28 points and rebounds against the Timberwolves.
Yes, the Knicks are an elite defense. Yes, they play at a slow pace, and yes, they have a good size to compete with Victor Wembanyama on the boards. The 2023 first-overall pick is pretty much a lock for a double-double, though. He’s had 12 in his last 15 games.
The Suns have just beaten the Nuggets, but they’re also two games removed from losing to the Wemby-less Spurs. OKC has slipped up a couple of times lately, yet we like the value on them to get back to winning ways at home. They are 9-8 straight-up as a dog this term.
Anthony Edwards has gone under this line in three straight games. He scored 30 against Denver earlier this month, but we think this Nuggets defense can keep him relatively quiet in the mile-high city.
With Luka Doncic listed as questionable, it’s a great opportunity to take the Kings on their home floor. Sacramento is 21-14 in front of their raucous fans. Dallas has a -2 net rating in minutes without Doncic.
