Premier League: Tractor Boys To Slow Toon Attack 

BETSiE loves to side with the underdogs, and this match is no different. Ipswich could be relegated when they face Newcastle, but we are hoping they put up a fight.

Newcastle looked leggy as they were beaten 4-1 by Aston Villa in their last game. It ended a run of six straight victories across all competitions. Eddie Howe’s side need the points as they aim to qualify for the Champions League. The thumping defeat at Villa Park could mean they are more cautious here. 

Ipswich are destined for the drop, but they will still want to put in a good performance. They have been competitive in their last five away matches, winning once and drawing two. This bet has won in all five of those games.

The Magpies beat Ipswich 4-0 in the reverse fixture. Alexander Isak scored a hat-trick on that occasion. BETSiE is hoping the Swede isn’t at his brilliant best here.

Serie A: Conceicao to commandeer Gondola oar and steer towards three points

Milan head to Venezia this weekend and BETSiE is backing them to win comfortably. A one-goal margin of victory for the visitors would mean a half-win on this bet. We need the Rossoneri to win by a minimum of two goals for a full return. 

Venezia have won just one of their last 16 matches. Over that period, they have scored an average of just 0.63 goals per game, which doesn’t bode well as they gear up to face a Milan side that are in fine fettle. 

Sérgio Conceição’s reign has had plenty of ups and downs. The midweek triumph over Inter to make it to the final of the Coppa Italia was undoubtedly the high point. Milan can carry momentum into this clash and secure a comfortable win. They have won their last two away matches, scoring seven and conceding none. 

The Rossoneri beat Venezia 4-0 when the teams squared off at the San Siro back in September. Milan also managed a 3-0 win the last time they played at this ground.

Bundesliga: Just the one defeat in 14?

BETSiE is tipping yet another away side. This time it’s Augsburg +1.5 on the Asian handicap as they head to Bayer Leverkusen.

Xabi Alonso’s side are losing their grip on their Bundesliga crown. Consecutive draws have left them eight points behind Bayern Munich with just two games to go. Leverkusen have won just one of their last nine competitive matches by a margin of two goals or more.

Augsburg are in excellent form. Their only defeat in their last 14 league matches came against Bayern Munich. During that impressive run of form, they have conceded an average of 0.5 goals per game. 

Fuggerstädter have done reasonably well at the BayArena of late. They were beaten 2-1 in this fixture last season as Leverkusen went on to finish the season unbeaten. In the 2022/23 campaign, Augsburg won this fixture 2-1.

La Liga: Copa del Rey weekend means just one La Liga weekend fixture

Ligue 1: BETSiE feeling brave at the foot of Ligue 1

Montpellier are enduring a torrid run of form but BETSiE is siding with them here. We need them to pick up at least a point in order for this bet to win. 

La Paillade won Ligue 1 as recently as 2012 but they have officially been relegated this season. An 11th straight defeat sealed their fate. Montpellier have picked up 12 of their 15 points on home turf this season so there is hope. 

Reims have just four win in their 14 away matches in this campaign. Over that period, they have scored an average of 1.07 goals per game, 0.29 fewer than they have conceded. 

Montpellier were beaten 4-2 when these sides met earlier in the campaign. They will be hoping that home advantage can play a key role here.
